The Gospel of Mark Chapter 4
Ok Girls.... get off the railroad tracks.. You two were making me nervous. (Watching Final Destination will do that to you!)...
But have you ever thought about what kind of soil you are? Is the word of God growing in you, or does it seem to be fading away? Are you growing in your knowledge of Jesus and in your relationship with him, or are growing apart? Just some thoughts for you to ponder.
My prayer for you today, is that the ground of your hearts would be cultivated in such a way that nothing would be able to snatch the Word of God that has been planted in it.
Go serve King Jesus.

Hey everybody! Mike here. What a great lesson today! I think this verse can be applied to the kind of people we will encounter in our lives [ Rocky = Resistant,
ReplyDelete[ Shallow = weak in the faith strong at first then weakens with life's difficulties and satans attacks,
[ Weeds = potential in the Lord, but choked with the thorns of life's difficulties,
[ Good soil = Recieves God's good news with joy and grows stronger in him through his/her life.] I pray that we as youth and soon to be adults for some of us will be the good soil and produce more than a hundred fold for the Lord!
Day four of M16 is rocking! if anybody else out there started a media fast I will ask them a question. Does not having so many electronic distractions show you just how much time we give to other things? And not to God?
I have learned this quite well.

hi here it is jerry cano. hope you all are doing good i agree with mike that we give alot of time up with t.v movies.ect..
ReplyDeletewell the message today was great working on a farm i know how much time gets put into the harvest in the future. so when we tell others about GOD do we need to put all of our time and energy into it so we dont lose seeds.we need to get real with GOD so we all can be farmers.
Hi everybody! Mike again, I have found that once you cut out the major distractions we grow closer to Christ. I have found that the Lord has used this M16 event to show me many things, chief among them was the fact I did not give enough time to him. But that is changing very quickly [Thank you God] May we continue to grow in our walks with the Lord in M16 and beyond.
ReplyDeleteRemember the times are much closer for his return, so get ready.

Distractions... Tell me about it!!!... You don't even want to get me started!!!... Got to confess, the distractions that I have been experiencing in my life lately, have been distracting me away from remembering that Jesus is more powerful than a weather crazied storm. Lately I've been finding that the stuff that I go through is actually a tactic from the enemy (satan) to get me to take my eyes off of Jesus. When all along I should know better... I know that he will see me through...
ReplyDeleteBlessings ya'll

ReplyDeleteGod promises that his harvest will be huge. It will be the best fruit ever grown. Our witness may be weak and our efforts may seem to influence so few, but the Word of God is powerful and will do what it has to do..... So, let's keep our eyes on the great harvest to come and don't allow bad soil or weeds discourage us from being faithful to God. Let's plant those seeds and watch the Lord do his work!!!
ReplyDeleteHi everybody, Mike again, Mark ch:5 was awesome! Again we see the Lord's power to see us through anything we will encounter. Today we see another man getting freed from many demons control,How powerful is that!?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteAnd on top of that Jesus raises a girl from the dead!!! After so many miracles how can we think some things in our life can be stronger than God?!
Jesus can and will see us through anything that will come our way.
That we are assured of.
